Joy by Zadie Smith Book Covers

Inspired by the essay written by Zadie Smith, joy is seen as something that is more intense, longer and even harder to notice, which can make it painful. Whereas pleasure is something that is considered short, simple and sweet. These covers were inspired by that meaning where the first cover, the marigold flower gives off positive energy like joy and excitement and the second cover displays the actual definition of joy.
